What kind of anti-virus to use.

Well there are many types of Anti-Virus for a person to use. Some people prefer to pay for anti-virus others don't. Free anti-virus services are good since they are free you can't beat the price, but since they are free they come at a cost. First is you are at the disposal of people making money off ads, unless they offer a bonus service like 20 a month. Ads and free services actually make quite a good amount of money so one shouldn't feel bad for using a free service. Paid anti-virus are good cause they have a team updating the virus databases constantly. Ever had to update your anti-virus? This is because, basically the anti-virus software is adding new definitions. Imagine a cheat sheet that shows how to remove each virus, this is the definitions that are being updated.

The Intro!

Hello, and welcome to my new blog. Today I will just be introducing myself and what I shall try to accomplish with my new blog.

  1. Quick Tips on how to avoid "Viruses" and other computer infections.
  2. Recommend programs with easy to use interfaces that I have personally tested or heard about from a reputable colleague.
  3. Simple How-to-remove Viruses and other unwanted programs that websites have installed on your computer
  4. Tips and tricks on how to avoid getting a Virus
  5. Obvious signs that your computer is infected

First I would like to start with what is a virus. A computer virus is when a program can spread from one computer to another, normally on a shared network or through the Internet. Most people never encounter a computer virus but use the term to describe Malware. Malware is Malicious Software that is downloaded and executed by your computer automatically or by the user. Most users have Malware on their computers without knowing it, but is easy to remove via Virus removal software. I left a link to Wikipedia just so you can see the term Computer Virus as they describe it. Link. This is all for today. In the upcoming weeks I will describe how one obtains a Virus and actions you can use to prevent, stop, and terminate the so called Virus.
